Campaigns

A campaign is an activation with a start and an end: a game, a cashback offer, a raffle. Unlike the programme, which is permanent, a campaign has a specific goal and a duration.

Campaign types

IncentIA has ten types. The wizard in Campaigns › All campaigns offers seven; the other three have their own page.

To create one, see Create a campaign.

Lifecycle

A campaign goes through these statuses:

StatusMeaning
DraftOnly you can see it. It doesn't accept participation.
ScheduledHas a start date in the future.
ActivePeople can take part.
PausedTemporarily stopped.
CompletedIt has ended. The data stays available for reports.
CancelledStopped ahead of time.

There is also an internal status for abandoned campaigns. Date-based transitions are automatic.

Programme campaigns and campaigns without a programme

A campaign can be linked to a loyalty programme or stand alone.

Someone who takes part in a campaign without a programme is a participant, not a member. See Members and participants.

tip

A campaign without a programme is a good way in: someone who wins on a wheel is a good candidate to become a member.

Campaign landing

Each campaign can have a public page with its participation form. Its address is /landing/c/<name-or-id>. See Campaign landing pages and, in editions that include it, the landing builder.

Limits

Each campaign can have a budget and per-participant limits. Your edition also limits how many campaigns you can have (see Editions).
