Challenges

A challenge asks the member for a number of actions and pays them points when they are done. The member joins from the portal. They can only join once, and only while the challenge is active and has not expired.

Progress adds up on its own, without you having to do anything, according to the Challenge Type:

TypeWhat it adds
TransactionCountOne for each purchase recorded.
SpendAmountThe amount of each purchase.
GamePlaysOne for each game played.
ReferralCountOne for each referral who completes the process.
CheckInOne for each check-in.
CustomNo product event adds to it by itself.

When the Target Count is reached, the challenge is completed and the Reward Points are awarded. It is paid only once per member.

A badge is a visual recognition with an optional points value. A member cannot receive the same badge twice, and it is not awarded if it is inactive.

Badges are not granted by hand from this screen. They are awarded by other features that have them assigned as a reward, such as a treasure hunt or a course.

Leaderboards

A leaderboard ranks members by a score. It is recalculated periodically (every few minutes), not instantly.

Leaderboard TypeScore
PointsPoints earned in the period.
TransactionsNumber of purchases.
GameWinsGames won.
ReferralsReferrals completed.

The Period can be AllTime, Monthly, Weekly or Daily. Max Entries limits how many members appear.

warning

Points and Transactions leaderboards need a Loyalty Programme. Without one, the leaderboard stays empty and keeps its previous data.

List and form

The list shows Name, Leaderboard Type, Period, Max Entries and Active. The form adds Description and Loyalty Programme. An inactive leaderboard is not recalculated.

States and limits

  • The values in the drop-down lists (Draft, Weekly, Gaming...) appear in English in every language of the interface.
  • A challenge in Draft, Completed, Expired or Cancelled does not accept enrolments.
  • Active campaign multipliers are applied to the Reward Points and to the Points awarded.
  • Without a Loyalty Programme, a challenge pays no points.
