Admin notifications

The Notifications menu has two options: the Inbox, where you read the alerts you receive, and Mass notifications, where you send an alert to several users on your team.

Before you start
  • The inbox is available to any user.
  • Sending mass notifications requires the Pages.Administration.MassNotification permission.

Inbox​

Route: /app/notifications.

  1. Open Notifications → Inbox.
  2. Filter between All and Unread, and press Refresh to reload.
  3. Read each notification (with its severity and creation time) and use Mark as read or Delete on the row.
  4. Mark all as read and Delete listed notifications act on the whole list.
  5. Notification settings lets you choose which alerts you receive.

Send a mass notification​

Route: /app/admin/mass-notifications. The screen lists the notifications you have published.

  1. Press Create new mass notification.
  2. Choose the target: a User or an Organisation unit. At least one is required; if the unit has no users, the send is rejected.
  3. Choose the Severity: info, success, warning, error or fatal.
  4. In Target notifiers, pick the channels (for example web or SMS). For SMS a note about message length is shown.
  5. Write the Message (required).
  6. Press Send mass notification and confirm.
This cannot be undone

Once sent, a notification cannot be withdrawn.

The list shows the message (use Show data / Show HTML data for the full content) and the severity of each send.
